On May 25, 2024, a homage in honor of the composer Mikis Theodorakis will take place in the Vienna Konzerthaus. An exclusive concert in which Maria Farantouri's outstanding voice will delight the audience with her powerful and sensitive interpretation. Together with the renowned Cypriot artist Alkinoos Ioannidis, the young newcomer Alkyone and first-class instrumentalists, Farantouri will perform songs from all of Mikis Theodorakis' creative phases, including the famous Mauthausen cycle.

Natasa Theodoridou was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. She studied journalism and at the same time completed a music degree (guitar and piano). In 1988 she gave her first live artistic performance in her birthplace, eight years later she decided to move to Athens to pursue her dream. In October 1997 she released her first solo album entitled "Natasa Theodoridou". This album went platinum within the first month of its release! Since then she has released 18 solo albums, all of which have gone gold and platinum.
With her distinctive voice, personality and great stage presence, Natasa Theodoridou is one of the biggest stars of the Greek music scene.

Aesthetically, her music is heavily influenced by indie pop, cinematic and folk elements. She firmly believes in the power of music.
